Main Ingredients:
250 gm fresh paneer (cottage cheese) cut into cube-sized pieces; 1 small-sized (80-100 gm) green capsicum/green bell pepper; 1 small-sized red bell pepper (80 gm) cut into cube sized pieces; 1 small sized (80 gm) yellow bell pepper cut into cube-sized pieces; 1 big sized onion cut into cube-sized pieces; 1 cup finely chopped spring onion; 4 green chilies cut into half each; 5 cloves garlic finely chopped.

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 tbsp green chili sauce
  • ½ tsp black pepper powder
  • ½ tsp white pepper powder
  • 1 tsp kashmiri red chili powder (for colour)
  • Salt to taste
  • Sugar to taste.
  1. Put the paneer pieces into boiled water. Wait for 5 minutes and drain it out. Keep it at ready.
  2. Heat oil (vegetable oil) in a pan.
  3. Add finely chopped garlic and fry for 1 minute on high flame.
  4. Add onion and fry for 2 minutes on high heat.
  5. Add all the bell peppers and fry for 3 minutes on high heat.
  6. Add green chilies and fry for 3 minutes.
  7. Add salt, sugar, white pepper powder and black pepper powder. Mix well.
  8. Add vinegar, soy sauce, sweet chili sauce and green chili sauce. Saute for a minute on medium flame.
  9. Add kashmiri red chili powder and mix well.
  10. Now add the paneer pieces and mix well.
  11. Add ½ cup of warm water and put a lid on it. Cook it for 5 minutes on low flame.
  12. Open the lid, adjust the taste of salt and sugar.
  13. Spread the spring onion over it and give the final stir.
  14. Turn off the heat and serve hot with fried rice.
