Main Ingredients:

  • 250 gm mutton keema/minced meat (cleaned
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped ginger 
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped garlic
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice 
  • ½  tsp black pepper powder
  • 6 green chilies chopped
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 tbsp corn flour
  • 4 tbsp all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½  tsp turmeric powder
  • 4 cups of breadcrumbs
  • ½  tsp bengali garam masala powder (cinnamon, green cardamom and clove)

  1. Take the minced meat/keema in a bowl.
  2. Add salt, turmeric powder, lemon juice, chopped ginger, chopped garlic, chopped green chilies, corn flour and all purpose flour. Mix well and divide into portions.
  3. Whisk the two eggs with a pinch of salt. Keep it at ready.
  4. Spread the breadcrumbs on a flat surfaced plate.
  5. Take a portion of meat and roll it with your palm.
  6. Tap the two ends with your fingers.
  7. Keep it on the breadcrumbs and roll it again.
  8. Now flatten it with your palm and give the shape of a cutlet.
  9. carefully dip each cutlet into the egg and coat well.
  10. put it back on the breadcrumb and coat the both sides well. Press the edges with the help of a knife to give a particular shape. Now it is ready to be fried.
  11. In this process make all the portions into cutlets. Keep them aside.
  12. Heat oil in a pan. 
  13. Deep fry each cutlet on medium heat until brown. 
  14. Take it out of the pan and serve hot with salad and kasundi (mustard sauce)/tomato ketchup.
